📋 Description
• Review and code inpatient and outpatient patient records • Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes • Verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs
🎯 Requirements
• Must reside in NJ or PA • 1-3 years acute care coding experience preferred • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology • Knowledge of medical terminology • Knowledge of pathology of disease • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM • Knowledge of ICD-10-PCS • Knowledge of CPT-4 • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA required • Associates in Health Information Technology preferred • Work schedule: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday • Bi-weekly hours: 80
