• Answer and respond to incoming donor emails • Respond to donor and donation questions via phone or email • Assign donor caseloads and thank-you messages • Resolve failed transactions and support gift giving • Complete ministry surveys for grant applications quarterly or annually • Organize ministries and organizations requiring annual ministry updates for executive leadership • Communicate with donors requesting year-end tax statements and troubleshoot nonreceipt • Manage pledges and document pledge fulfillment • Assist donors with setting up personal online giving accounts • Support planning and execution of advancement events, including Banquet, Summit, and Student Leader Conference • Set quarterly Advancement Team meetings, assign tasks, update notes, and lead meetings • Support caseload, end-of-month, and end-of-year reports • Update executive summary notes and totals • Update donor contact information and communication preferences • Merge duplicate accounts and review new accounts • Correct contribution errors, including incorrectly labeled funds • Update deceased donor profiles and household names • Communicate with Finance regarding processing questions and donor requests • Verify donation batches weekly with the Finance Team • Assist Finance with returned tax receipts by contacting donors for updated addresses • Prepare fundraiser and event invitations and mailings • Prepare segmented lists for mail communications and emails • Support staff with donor questions and follow-up • Analyze giving trends and ROI for specific appeals and events • Participate in staff fundraising and support-raising efforts
• 3+ years experience in a similar role • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Quick and eager learner • Impressively organized with great attention to detail • High moral integrity, emotional health, social awareness, and spiritual maturity • Team player eager to serve and contribute their best • Evangelical Jesus-follower who loves the gospel and evangelism • Wise and mature believer who knows the Word of God and seeks to follow it • Fast-paced worker and multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to hit deadlines • Familiarity with Google Docs and spreadsheets • Previous experience in QuickBooks and Virtuous is a plus • Located in the US and legally authorized to work in the US • Willingness to share the gospel
• Part-time role with potential to become full-time if the candidate exceeds expectations and the role grows in responsibilities • Fair compensation and a salary staff can count on from day one • Training, coaching, encouragement, and ongoing support throughout staff support raising efforts • Occasional travel for mission trips, ministry events, training, and organizational gatherings
