β€’ Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities β€’ Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities β€’ Strengthen relationships with existing clients and uncover growth opportunities β€’ Partner with Client Services, Operations, and Leadership to ensure a strong client experience β€’ Support targeted marketing initiatives and lead-generation campaigns β€’ Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity β€’ Provide market feedback and strategic recommendations to leadership β€’ Maintain accurate pipeline and client activity in CRM (SugarCRM) β€’ Represent Deibel professionally at client meetings, conferences, and industry events

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 4+ years of B2B sales experience in food, microbiology, chemistry, pharmaceutical, or related industries β€’ Demonstrated success growing accounts and developing new business β€’ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills β€’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities β€’ Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office β€’ Background in food science, microbiology, laboratory services, or quality systems (preferred) β€’ Experience working in food manufacturing, food safety, or laboratory environments (preferred) β€’ Experience using consultative or solution-selling methodologies (preferred) β€’ Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field (preferred, not required) β€’ Membership or involvement in organizations such as IAFP or related food safety associations (preferred) β€’ Spanish fluency is a plus (preferred)

β€’ Competitive base salary: $70,000–$85,000 DOE β€’ Additional earning potential: Up to $10,000 annually through performance-based commission β€’ Commission rewards success in: New client acquisition, Strategic account growth, Long-term client partnership β€’ Comprehensive benefits: Employer pays 90% of employee medical premiums, Dental, vision, and 401(k)
