📋 Description

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Data Analytics courses in accordance with DeVry University requirements • Facilitate student learning through practitioner-focused instruction • Develop approved course syllabi and lesson plans • Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials • Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to make courses accessible • Communicate clearly and effectively to engage students and improve learning • Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weighting • Align examination content with course terminal objectives • Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly, providing timely student feedback • Integrate responsible AI technologies to enhance teaching and learning • Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools • Complete other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field • At least 18 graduate credit hours in data analytics, statistics, data science, quantitative analysis, or a related computational discipline • Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be uploaded with the application • Degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or equivalent international accreditation • 3–5 years of applied professional experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, statistical analysis, or data-driven decision support • Experience with data analysis tools and programming environments, including possible statistical software, data visualization platforms, database technologies, and analytics programming languages • Industry-recognized certifications or professional credentials relevant to data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or statistical analysis • Strong expertise in data analytics concepts and methodologies • Effective communication skills and ability to translate complex quantitative concepts for diverse learners • Knowledge of ethical and responsible data practices, including data governance, privacy, bias awareness, and responsible data use • Additional state licensing, institutional policy, or accreditation requirements may apply • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices • Preferred: industry certifications; data management and analytics ecosystems; analytics frameworks; data governance and lifecycle management; accreditation processes; professional analytics/statistics/data science organization engagement; post-secondary instruction using laboratories, real-world datasets, and analytics platforms; 2–5 years of post-secondary teaching experience
