📋 Description

• Analyze local, state, and national assessment data regarding individual student performance and school improvement, with a focus on at-risk students • Develop and maintain historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance • Interpret and review assessment data with administrators and teachers • Compile data from multiple assessments to develop student, subject, grade-level, or school achievement profiles • Train faculty and school staff in using data to improve instruction and address learning and achievement gaps • Ensure the validity of data presented to staff and stakeholders • Attend relevant training sessions and conferences to support school improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Residency in Florida • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and two years of data analyst experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to travel at least 15% of the time • Ability to pass a required background check • Experience using academic data to impact instruction and school strategic planning • Knowledge of data processing software • Ability to explain testing and statistics to administrators, teachers, and parents • Ability to communicate technical information clearly in writing and orally • Ability to work effectively with staff from various areas of responsibility • Knowledge of quality management, systems, and strategic planning • Ability to learn new software and processes • Ability to design and format data files and tables and modify and update structures • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner • Experience with Salesforce • Experience with various types of student assessment data • Experience with large data sets, including data analysis, interpretation, and display • Experience with SQL and Snowflake • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and written skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to interact positively with teachers, administrators, and support staff • Knowledge of the school improvement process • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
