📋 Description

• Design, define, implement, and document high-level embedded/firmware software architectures for iCGM products • Trace technical specifications from requirements through manufacturing • Collaborate with hardware teams on software-hardware integration • Develop drivers and optimize battery management and memory usage • Lead technical design decisions and define module interfaces • Lead and mentor engineering teams and individuals • Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards • Conduct system-level performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization • Ensure reliability, security, scalability, FDA compliance, and safety requirements • Present technical positions to audiences ranging from engineers to executives • Collaborate on system integration

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in embedded systems design, development, and debugging • Expertise in C/C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS) • Deep understanding of microprocessor/microcontroller architecture, including ARM Cortex • Experience with low-level peripheral drivers • Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and BLE • Strong proficiency in software architectural design patterns, modularity, and reusability • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 15+ years related experience, or Master’s degree and 10+ years equivalent industry experience, or PhD and 7+ years of experience • Good verbal and presentation communication skills • Willingness to travel 5–15%
