📋 Description

• Drive consistent execution of the brand’s visual strategy across assigned districts. • Promote visual merchandising as a contributor to sales, margin, and turn. • Maximize the impact of game plans, brand standards, product flow, space planning, and seasonal product movement. • Evaluate store KPIs and financial insights to make commercial decisions and recommendations. • Create brand-aligned merchandise presentations using strong design principles and detail. • Ensure effective seasonal flow and resolve regional space constraints. • Support stores through classroom, virtual, and hands-on visual merchandising training. • Develop new managers and support CORE visual merchandising training. • Build field capability through targeted training, coaching, best-practice sharing, and reinforcement of standards. • Collaborate with partners to solve store-specific visual merchandising challenges. • Provide field leadership and CSC visibility for documented, maintainable, and sustainable updates. • Lead partnerships and stakeholder alignment to advance brand positioning across districts. • Support new concepts, growth initiatives, new store openings, remodels, and concept evolution. • Plan and coordinate game plans, transitions, launches, and new store initiatives. • Translate visual direction into actionable plans through cross-functional alignment and documentation. • Solve real-time space, inventory, and operational challenges while maintaining brand consistency. • Use feedback, photos, and business results to improve execution quality and market performance. • Directly manage, coach, and develop Field Visual leaders and Dedicated Store Visual Leaders. • Own hiring, onboarding, coaching, ongoing development, succession planning, and retention of field visual talent. • Establish expectations and priorities for accurate, consistent, high-quality execution. • Communicate visual standards, performance insights, and development priorities. • Reinforce accountability through coaching, execution validation, and readiness planning. • Manage direct-report workloads and deliverables. • Provide timely and regular feedback to direct reports. • Drive talent selection and ensure direct reports are trained and onboarded.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside within Los Angeles or San Diego, CA. • Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or Visual Merchandising. • 7–10 years of management and visual merchandising experience, preferably in softlines. • Demonstrated understanding of customer and retail merchandising strategies. • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, work independently, and remain flexible. • Strong analytics-based problem-solving skills. • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills. • Excellent training and facilitation skills. • Knowledge of customer service principles. • Ability to manage execution responsibilities and direct-report workload to achieve deliverables on time and with quality. • Ability to provide timely and regular feedback supporting associate development and growth. • Ability to establish succession plans within a 0–2 year horizon and gain Director support. • Ability to deliver proposed staffing objectives. • Ability to drive talent selection for open direct-report positions. • Ability to ensure direct reports are appropriately trained and onboarded. • Cameras must be on during virtual interviews. • AI tools are not permitted during any part of the interview process. • Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check, which may include ID verification.
