📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the financial reporting process • Prepare monthly financial reports and financial statements • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP • Review international subsidiaries’ monthly financial statements for accuracy • Coordinate with international subsidiaries’ accounting functions • Maintain compliance with internal controls over financial reporting • Serve as primary point of contact for audits of annual financial statements and certain footnote disclosures • Manage preparation of monthly financial statements for bank and management reporting • Research technical accounting issues and draft related whitepapers • Manage preparation and support of audited annual financial statements • Serve as key point of contact for external auditors • Provide monthly documentation to international accounting personnel for timely and accurate close • Provide accounting support and ensure consistent policy and procedure implementation at international entities • Compile and analyze financial information for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting • Lead preparation of monthly financial variance analysis reports • Lead implementation of internal controls and process improvements • Partner with Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Accounting, and International Accounting teams

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience with financial reporting, including preparation of footnote disclosures required (or working in these areas in the capacity of an auditor) • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and prevent errors or discrepancies in financial information • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to identify the root cause of problems and propose solutions to correct issues • Able to convey complex financial information clearly at the executive level, both verbally and in writing • Able to work independently and with others, to contribute to team goals • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities while working remotely • Must maintain high ethical standards and meet confidentiality requirements • Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial management tools • Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups • Demonstrated ability to learn accounting and reporting applications in a short period of time • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 5–7 years of progressive experience, with most recent role at manager level or equivalent, or strong, experienced senior with leadership experience ready to take the next step
