📋 Description

• Lead and develop project engineering teams across all project lifecycle phases: requirements gathering, conceptual designs, detailed designs, fabrication, testing, commissioning, training, and support • Serve as the point of escalation for project engineering and lead teams through projects that are not meeting expectations • Collaborate with sales, leadership, PMO, Project Operations, and Sales Enablement leaders • Recruit, hire, and train engineering resources to meet client project needs • Empower engineering associates to own client interactions and deliverables • Design and implement engineering standards and processes with engineering teams and PMO • Govern standards through project audits to ensure adherence and consistency • Drive efficiency, innovation, and technology adoption in project engineering • Lead teams designing and deploying $10M+ technology projects • Visit clients and client sites and develop key client relationships • Ensure career pathing and training opportunities for associates • Facilitate resource sharing and cross-training across territories, business units, and specialties • Assign resources and balance workloads across projects • Drive risk assessment analysis and process adherence • Directly manage the regional/specialty project engineering team • Ensure engineering quality and profitability across the regional/specialty project portfolio • Oversee engineering solutions, design documentation, configuration, commissioning, and training • Track team performance to drive utilization, efficiency, quality, savings, and profit • Support project managers with value engineering and scope change orders • Translate company mission and vision into engineering deliverables • Coordinate weekly in-person and virtual meetings, workshops, and team-building events with manufacturers and vendors

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • 10 years plus extensive construction engineering experience required • Demonstrated success managing multi-region or large-scale engineering operations • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large portfolios and margin performance • Expertise in engineering delivery lifecycle, systems integration, and construction processes • Strategic thinking with strong operational execution • Ability to scale processes across regions and teams • Strong collaboration and influence across business functions • Proven ability to lead through complexity and organizational change • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills • Proven conflict resolution skills • Strong business management skills, including utilization of financial and time management tools • Highly connected to procurement • Servant leadership management style (top/down and down/top) • Ability to identify skill assessment • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • CTS-I and/or CTS-D a plus
