📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization's engineering function • Oversee manufacturing engineering, process engineering, product engineering support, capital projects, automation initiatives, maintenance engineering, and continuous improvement efforts • Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives • Lead engineering teams across one or more manufacturing facilities • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance • Prioritize engineering resources to support production, customer requirements, and strategic initiatives • Drive innovation through new technologies, automation, and process improvements • Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput • Lead process optimization and waste reduction initiatives • Support new product launches and manufacturing readiness • Ensure manufacturing equipment and production systems meet operational requirements • Collaborate with Operations to resolve production challenges and improve plant performance • Develop and manage capital expenditure plans • Lead facility expansions, equipment installations, and modernization projects • Manage project budgets, schedules, contractors, and engineering resources • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence initiatives • Establish KPIs to measure engineering effectiveness • Identify opportunities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reliability, and manufacturing capability • Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve operational performance • Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering professionals and leaders • Build succession plans and support employee development • Conduct performance evaluations and establish development plans • Foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability throughout the engineering organization • Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Business Development to achieve business objectives • Support strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-range operational improvements • Serve as the technical advisor to executive leadership • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives • Strong financial acumen with experience managing capital and operating budgets • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills • Multi-site manufacturing experience • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline • 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing • 5+ years managing engineering teams or large-scale projects • Master's degree preferred • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
