đź“‹ Description

• Engage in remote programming of Fire Alarm Systems • Contact local offices to obtain files needed to build complete Simplex Fire Alarm System programs • Work with the Design Team to obtain .csv files and the latest submitted and approved drawings • Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts • Interpret and apply applicable NFPA standards based on building type, construction type, hazard classification, and architectural features • Collaborate with district contracting teams regarding customer contracts, program scheduling, and installation crew delivery needs • Work with the Remote Programming Team in a Microsoft Teams virtual environment to share standard processes • Attend weekly Microsoft Teams meetings about backlog and urgent projects • Upload completed projects to SharePoint and send links to local offices for downloading to the Fire Alarm Panel • Support local technicians during uploads and resolve programming-related issues • Promote the team and develop working relationships with local offices

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Simplex Fire Alarm System Technician/Programmer • 10+ years Simplex Fire Alarm Technician/Programming Experience • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Simplex programmers • Proficient in interpreting and applying applicable NFPA standards • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents • NICET Level II or III certification preferred
