📋 Description

• Provide operational environmental compliance and operational excellence support for West Coast facilities • Manage environmental reporting, permit tracking, agency correspondence, and compliance documentation • Conduct inspections, audits, sampling coordination, and data review • Verify facility compliance and operational excellence standard conformance • Identify improvement opportunities • Maintain environmental records, procedures, inventories, databases, and training support systems • Visit plants regularly for hands-on implementation of site-specific environmental procedures • Conduct operational excellence auditing for quality and productivity • Raise environmental focus and operational excellence culture • Build environmental procedures and culture at new or acquired facilities as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Science or related preferred • At least 5 years' experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment required • Familiar with solid waste, wastewater and air permits required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Must live on the west coast in AZ, NV, ID, OR, WA, or CA • Ability to travel up to 50% annually • Safety-sensitive position requiring a clear mind and diligence • Ability to frequently bend, stand, walk, sit, kneel, and climb stairs/ladders • Comfort with repetitive tasks throughout the shift • Ability to handle changes in temperature, humidity, and wetness in working areas
