📋 Description

• Participate in comprehensive training for designing building MEP systems • Perform basic engineering work and design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision • Perform standard computations and analysis • Learn to use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and visual aids • Assist with reviewing drawing details, schedules, sequences of operations, and drawing content • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports • Collect data and information for construction documents • Prepare project design and construction documents • Review shop drawings and submittals • Organize and prepare responses to RFIs • Assist with punch lists and project closeout documents • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders • Update and maintain shop drawing and RFI logs • Manage personal hours using company tools • Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to improve efficiency and work quality • Identify process improvements and support adoption of emerging technologies • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • For the project management track: assist with project coordination, action-item and milestone tracking, file management, stakeholder follow-up, and QA/QC compilation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution in process • Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals • Beginner-level proficiency with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Ability to learn and use AutoCAD and Revit • Ability to complete assignments accurately with attention to detail • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment using effective communication and organizational skills • Self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free workspace • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to work independently with supervision and as part of a team • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to travel up to 10% to any or all 50 U.S. states • Valid REAL ID or acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for business air travel after May 7, 2025
