📋 Description

• Assist in producing low-voltage ICT, security and A/V engineering deliverables • Support BIM/CAD deliverables, including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings • Perform intermediate design tasks under senior engineer supervision • Support project delivery through electronic document and BIM model management • Collaborate with technical trade leads across MEP, BAS, EPMS and ICT for multidisciplinary coordination • Complete BIM/CAD production work within project budgets and deadlines • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports • Collect data for construction documents • Prepare project design and construction documents • Edit and write project specifications • Review shop drawings and submittals • Review and respond to RFIs • Complete punch lists and project closeout documents • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders • Update and maintain shop drawing and RFI logs • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering, construction or related discipline OR minimum of three years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD with a focus on low voltage design • One year of additional experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD with a focus on low voltage design • Intermediate knowledge of networking systems, including copper and fiber optic systems, cabling and components • Intermediate knowledge of Audio Visual, Access Control and CCTV systems and components • Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit computer-aided design tools • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize operational processes • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to communicate directly with clients and sometimes serve as primary client contact • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with moderate supervision • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with effective communication, organization, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction-free workspace • Ability to work in interdepartmental groups • Ability to travel up to 10%, potentially to any or all 50 US states • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including manipulating small parts/tools, remaining stationary, moving through office and critical-facility environments, using stairs/ladders, accessing equipment and occasionally moving equipment up to 25 pounds
