📋 Description

• Drive the day-to-day reliability, availability, and performance of Docusign’s global platform • Proactively monitor and maintain resilient infrastructure that protects the customer experience • Lead engineering teams developing and maintaining reliability tools, automation, and APIs for internal engineering users • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of SREs, including Senior and Staff-level engineers • Foster continuous learning, psychological safety, and technical excellence • Partner with product and development teams to implement and monitor Error Budgets and SLOs • Advocate for users in engineering discussions by connecting latency and downtime to customer and business impact • Champion adoption of the Internal Developer Platform for Docusign’s 2,000+ developers • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance on operational alignment and project delivery • Shift incident response from reactive to predictive through Chaos Engineering and automated self-healing mechanisms • Report to the Director, Site Reliability Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, or Software Engineering • Minimum of 4 years of experience directly managing engineering teams in a high-scale SaaS environment • Experience guiding teams that build tools and automation • Experience with infrastructure as code and internal developers as primary users • Experience managing complex technical projects • Experience handling incident management efficiently • Experience driving systems to higher standards of uptime • Experience making technical priority decisions based on user impact • Ability to translate technical metrics into customer trust • Experience solving modern operational problems with software automation • Experience with modern programming languages such as Go or Python • Experience managing enterprise-grade Kubernetes container orchestration, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (preferred) • Experience contributing to or implementing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) (preferred) • Familiarity with infrastructure supporting AI/LLM workloads or predictive data pipelines (preferred) • Hands-on experience with public cloud ecosystems, specifically Azure, and multi-region architectures (preferred)
