📋 Description

• Collect and analyze spot market price transactions from industry participants • Verify the legitimacy of the transactions and adhere to DJE pricing methodology to create daily price assessments • Generate breaking and feature news alerts on carbon markets, clean energy and environmental sustainability initiatives and legislation that impacts pricing • Research and report on new developments in carbon policies and programs • Contribute to social media content, blog postings, industry analysis and publish reports • Network and develop sources in the carbon industry

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years journalism or market analysis experience, preferably in the environmental, commodities, or financial sector • Price reporting experience covering carbon markets (cap-and-trade/cap-and-invest/voluntary) • Experience breaking down complex regulatory and market issues into accurate and easily understood content • Developed sources and actively engaged with market contacts and stakeholders • Analyzed data and market drivers quickly with the use of Excel and spreadsheets • Bachelor’s degree -or- equivalent work experience
