📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to develop pipelines and ETL tasks in order to facilitate the extraction of insights. • Establish data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated and serve as standards for other teams to leverage. • Inform data team strategy by working with the product leaders and managers. • Actively participate in execution and some planning of organizational data team strategy. • Collaborate with Doximity’s Data Leadership team to ensure alignment and success across the entire Data Organization. • Manage individual Data Engineers to foster learning, growth and success at Doximity.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role. • Experienced in creating automated testing, applying design patterns, and other engineering best practices. • Expert in Python and possess fluency in SQL and have developed maintainable data pipelines with each. • Experience managing 3 or more people whereby you were accountable for their growth and success as individuals and team members. • Excel at communicating to both technical and non-technical people, with an ability to explain complex concepts simply. • Able to contribute individually, balancing priorities between being a player and a coach. • Have led several projects, from idea generation to planning, execution, through delivering. • Working knowledge of how ML/AI applications are deployed and monitored.
