📋 Description

• Rewrite and optimize YouTube video descriptions for SEO and AEO • Conduct keyword research and naturally incorporate relevant search terms • Structure descriptions to improve discoverability and support AI search engines and answer engines • Write strategic calls to action with links where appropriate • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content • Use AI to increase productivity while applying critical thinking and creativity • Keep multiple projects moving forward while maintaining communication quality • Leverage new technology to improve efficiency • Optimize videos for discovery through Google, YouTube, and AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated professional copywriting experience, including YouTube description copywriting • Demonstrated results growing organic traffic through YouTube SEO or video content optimization • Experience optimizing content for Google Search, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI-powered search platforms • Knowledge of engagement mechanics, prompts, and calls to action • Ability to translate strategy or business objectives into clear, engaging language • Strong judgment • Strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize strategically and meet strict deadlines • Ability to research keywords and metadata • Comfortable working with large content libraries and repetitive workflows while maintaining quality • Ability to receive direct feedback and challenge a creative partner constructively • Experience with health, nutrition, wellness, or educational content • Up-to-date Mac or Windows computer with antivirus protection • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Quiet, distraction-free workspace • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and software • Comfortable and experienced using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive) • Must complete a skills test during the application process • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer for W-2 positions • International and California-based employees are not currently eligible
