⢠Own long-term target architectures, interfaces, trust boundaries, and patterns across space, ground, and user segments ⢠Embed security by design throughout a multi-year roadmap ⢠Serve as senior technical authority for release-readiness gates, engineering standards, and architecture tradeoffs ⢠Lead technical integration across cyber, software, hardware, AI, and systems teams ⢠Productize solutions for repeatable deployment across client satellites and constellation profiles ⢠Guide system-level test strategy and execution across integration, security validation, mission-readiness, and operational acceptance ⢠Support failure analysis and root-cause resolution ⢠Translate NIST, CMMC, ATO/STIGs, and space threat models into executable delivery controls and compliance-ready designs ⢠Lead technical-vision discussions with clients and executives ⢠Advise workstream leads on complex technical tradeoffs and develop architects and engineers
đŻ Requirements
⢠Bachelor's degree required ⢠Must be a U.S. Citizen ⢠10+ years of experience as a product engineer, solution architect, systems architect, technical product leader, or similar role ⢠Experience delivering complex cyber, aerospace, space, embedded, or mission-critical systems to production and operations ⢠Proven leadership delivering multidisciplinary cyber and/or space systems ⢠Experience designing secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and space/embedded environments ⢠Systems-thinking and systems-integration background ⢠Authorship of reference architectures, patterns, or platforms adopted by multiple teams ⢠Cross-domain depth across embedded/space, AI/ML, ground segment, cloud, and DevOps ⢠Strong grasp of identity, key management, secure boot and update, segmentation, data protection, logging and telemetry, and supply chain security ⢠Experience with NIST, ATOs, STIGs, and CMMC compliance constraints ⢠Ability to influence without direct authority ⢠Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences ⢠Willingness and ability to travel 20 to 60 percent ⢠Candidates with previous consulting or contracting experience are preferred ⢠Preferred experience with commercial product or platform launches, satellite mission operations, aerospace delivery, embedded and real-time systems, AI/ML deployment pipelines, space threat research, and active Secret-or-higher security clearance ⢠Working fluency with C, POSIX, real-time operating systems, Python, PyTorch, Docker, Grafana, MQTT, Node.js, GitHub Actions, automated security scanning, and containerized deployments
