📋 Description

• Plan, budget, oversee, and document Contract Logistics implementation and existing-business initiative projects • Manage projects focused on warehousing and distribution centers • Work with clients and DSV leadership to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget • Define project scope and align client and business input • Create detailed project schedules with milestones, critical-path tasks, dependencies, owners, and due dates • Communicate project scope and schedules to project resources and stakeholders • Hold team members, contractors, clients, and functional owners accountable for deliverables • Manage project budget, scope, timeline, and change control • Lead status meetings, facilitate detailed working sessions, and track risks and mitigation actions • Escalate issues and risks to the Manager and Project Sponsor • Lead Steering Committee updates on executive-level status, budget, and risks • Plan and manage the transition from project execution to stable operations • Facilitate AQP sessions • Assist with drafting MS Project files for RFP responses • Drive planning, risk mitigation, team ownership, project oversight, quality verification, and proactive follow-up

🎯 Requirements

• Four-year degree required; Management, Engineering, or Operations preferred • Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience • Minimum of 5 years of Logistics/Warehousing Industry experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio • Experience with Warehouse Management System(s) • English reading, writing, and verbal skills • Ability to communicate with all levels of business and facilitate meetings or workshops • Good mathematical skills • E-commerce experience, including starting up small- to large-volume solutions • Ability to work in changing warehouse temperatures • Ability to work overtime as dictated by the business • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for several hours per day, and perform bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing • Ability to travel by plane and/or automobile • Preferred: 3PL environment experience • Preferred: warehouse automation applications experience, including Pick to Light, Automated Sortation, Voice Pick, and conveyor design • Preferred: PMP or other formal project management training • AutoCAD is a plus • Spanish is a plus
