📋 Description

• Install, commission, service, maintain, and repair metal production analytical devices and DTE solutions at customer sites • Receive and unpack equipment at customer sites • Ensure installations and service work meet quality, safety, and schedule standards • Configure equipment to meet operational requirements • Train customer operators to use DTE solutions • Provide remote and on-site technical support • Troubleshoot technical problems in demanding industrial environments • Confirm customer site readiness, including power, utilities, access, lifting, and safety approvals • Participate in the on-call rota and respond within agreed service commitments • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to drive continuous improvement • Serve as a key customer point of contact during installation and maintenance activities

🎯 Requirements

• Based in the United States • Must live within easy driving distance of a major airport • Willing and able to travel approximately 50% within the United States • Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States • Valid driver’s license and passport required • B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience • 3+ years of experience in assembly, field service, or technical support roles involving electronic or industrial equipment • Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies for automated control systems and logic • Strong analytical skills and a practical problem-solving mindset • Ability to work hands-on with prototypes, testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement • Strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality • Able to meet customer site access requirements, including safety training, medical or drug screening, and background checks • Comfortable working in hot, noisy casthouse environments, wearing personal protective equipment and handling equipment components • Experience in metals, foundry, or other heavy industrial environments is a plus • Electrical training, certification, or licensure is a plus • Excellent English communication skills; other languages are a plus
