📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and continuously improve cash forecasting capabilities for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and its subsidiaries • Lead development, maintenance, and enhancement of short-term, medium-term, and long-term cash flow forecasts • Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging patterns • Communicate trends, forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities to Senior Management and the Board • Partner with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other business leaders to gather forecast assumptions and improve forecast accuracy • Optimize excess cash and maximize returns in accordance with company investment policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required), or 10+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of degree • 8+ years of experience in a related field • At this time, Blue Cross NC will not sponsor employment authorization for this position • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, or CFA certification or pursuit is a bonus • Cash management and cash flow forecasting experience highly preferred • Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, etc.) expertise highly preferred • Data analytics and reporting • Power BI or Tableau • Financial automation and process improvement • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex financial models) • Experience managing healthcare-specific cash flow cycles • Understanding of the healthcare industry
