📋 Description

• Design and implement database structures based on organizational requirements • Conduct systems analysis to understand and address database needs in alignment with business processes • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for database solutions • Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties for moderately complex workflows and systems • Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries and database configurations • Implement and manage security measures, including access controls and encryption • Develop and maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery plans • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability within the database • Maintain and update SQL code to correct errors and enhance functionality • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and assist with audits • Partner with business process experts to recommend database enhancements and solutions • Plan future database capacity and storage needs • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to minimize downtime and data loss • Carry out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, following general instructions from a supervisor • Work with internal and/or external customers by telephone or face-to-face interaction • Support healthcare applications

🎯 Requirements

• Must have 3 years of SQL database experience in healthcare environment • Epic experience • Will support 200 misc. healthcare applications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Related Field • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator required • SQL Database Administration required
