📋 Description

• Support all Oracle application database implementations in physical and cloud environments • Load schemas, scripts, and data into Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases • Create and modify tables, views, and indexes • Control and monitor database user access and maintain system security • Monitor and optimize database performance using monthly Oracle AWR reports • Assist with performance tuning and troubleshooting Oracle application database issues • Provide consultation and knowledge sharing on database requirements for new and existing projects • Interface with the J64 DBA infrastructure team • Research, document, and remediate application STIG findings • Troubleshoot and resolve database problems • Support Oracle upgrades to later DLA-approved releases

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in DBMS system analysis and programming • Experience using current DBMS technologies and application design with various database management systems • Experience with DBMS internals • Ability to provide highly technical DBMS expertise and support • Ability to evaluate and recommend DBMS products for validated user requirements • Five (5) years relevant experience • Ability to run Automated Workload Repository (AWR) reports • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
