📋 Description

• Support the development and implementation of communications campaigns • Draft press releases, media advisories, reporter pitches, op-eds, and other materials • Track news stories related to climate and energy issues • Produce media reports on narrative trends, emerging risks, and opportunities • Share insights and briefings on message testing, polling, and research • Collaborate across Earthjustice’s communications department • Partner with coalitions and legal experts • Work under the supervision of the Public Affairs & Communications Team Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in a college/university program as a sophomore, junior, or senior during spring 2027 • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite • Comfort navigating and learning new tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Demonstrated commitment to Earthjustice’s values of Justice, Excellence, Inclusion, and Partnership • Must commit to 15–18 hours/week • Resume, one-page cover letter, proof of enrollment, and 1–3-page writing sample required • Finalists must submit 2 references
