âą Manage ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects, including QSR and casual dining restaurants, schools, retail centers, industrial facilities, and other commercial developments âą Plan, direct, manage, oversee, and document daily project-site activities âą Implement and enforce safety programs and promote a job-site safety culture âą Manage worker orientation programs for new project workers âą Enforce public safety programs for non-construction personnel âą Implement, maintain, update, and communicate project schedules âą Coordinate required field inspections and maintain inspection logs âą Upload and maintain company-required project documentation âą Communicate with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors âą Promote positive subcontractor and vendor relations âą Represent the company professionally and work harmoniously with all project participants âą Lead on-site project teams through successful completion
âą Good working knowledge of project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, and project-specific documents âą Ability to implement and enforce company safety policies and site-specific safety programs âą Clear verbal, written, and electronic communication skills âą Demonstrated leadership skills for organizing scopes, people, materials, tools, and equipment âą Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and structural systems âą Advanced knowledge of OSHA requirements and ability to execute an OSHA site visit âą Ability to implement, maintain, update, and communicate project schedules âą Ability to coordinate field inspections and maintain inspection logs âą Ability to perform and maintain construction documentation, including daily job reports, photographs, manpower reports, JHAs, toolbox talks, progress plans, and labor reports âą Preferred four-year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent field experience, but not required âą Minimum 10 years of field experience in the construction industry as lead superintendent on commercial construction âą OSHA 30 preferred âą Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completion
