📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations across cloud and on-prem environments • Serve as Incident Commander for major security incidents • Drive AI-powered security operations, automation, and threat detection initiatives • Lead detection engineering, threat hunting, and response improvements • Own and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence platforms • Develop incident response plans, playbooks, and automation workflows • Partner with IT, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture • Mentor and develop SOC analysts and security engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 8+ years of security operations, incident response, or threat detection experience • 3+ years leading a SOC or Security Operations team • Deep expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, detection engineering, and incident response • Experience operating in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environments • Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to security operations and automation. • Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders • Technically credible leader who earns trust through expertise and action • Calm, decisive decision-maker during high-pressure security incidents • Excellent communicator able to translate complex security issues for any audience • Passionate about leveraging AI and automation to improve security outcomes • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve results. • Committed to continuous learning, innovation, and team development.
