📋 Description

• Advise students remotely via Zoom and Microsoft Teams about education payment methods, financial aid eligibility, application procedures, financial assistance programs, costs, indebtedness, money management, and financial planning • Individualize financial aid information to students’ needs and circumstances • Collect and analyze student financial data to determine financial aid eligibility and make awards within federal, donor, and institutional guidelines • Evaluate unusual or mitigating-circumstance documentation and adjust costs, contribution, need, or dependency status when exceptions apply • Answer student, parent, and guardian questions regarding financial aid programs and eligibility • Analyze system-generated reports, including grades, enrollment status, and award status, to verify continued compliance and eligibility • Notify students of changes in award eligibility and alternatives for addressing them • Interface with students, lenders, employers, and Student Services staff to resolve concerns

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred • 2-3 years of related experience • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training • Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications, including word processing, presentations, e-mail, calendaring, teleconferencing, text messaging, personal computers, and smart phones/tablets • Utilizing AI tools preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Proficiency in CampusVue Student database preferred • Well-developed oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and analytical skills • Ability to quickly master new methodologies, technologies and systems • Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures • Ability to interact with employees, potential students and outside contacts of all levels, providing excellent customer service • Ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituents • Dedicated distraction-free home office space • Must adhere to a set schedule • Continuous/active communication with managers and co-workers • Home office space accommodating dual monitors, computer, and VPN device • Hard-wired high-speed internet with minimum 6 Mbps download and 1.5 Mbps upload speed • Latency/ping of 40–45 ms or lower • Supported ISP services: Cable, DSL, or Fiber • Candidates must provide Internet Service Provider name and test results before hire
