📋 Description

• Promote reliability of the Bulk Power System through NERC standards compliance monitoring and enforcement activities • Provide guidance supporting and enhancing operational business unit risk management • Maintain and revise compliance policies, programs, procedures, and infrastructure related to NERC O&P Standards • Prepare, coordinate, and support internal, consultant, and regulatory compliance audits, including possible site travel • Coordinate resolution of compliance issues and develop improvement recommendations and mitigation plans • Document and submit potential violations to regulatory organizations and track timely resolution in auditable records • Use compliance technology to assign, track, and monitor compliance efforts • Establish, document, and maintain operational support procedures and guidelines • Coordinate compliance self-certification and data submissions • Inform organizations about NERC Standards Development activities and communicate EDFps positions to NERC • Ensure timely adherence to new or revised NERC and NERC RTO regulatory obligations • Maintain awareness of utility industry issues through benchmarking and participation in utility forums/groups • Recommend or implement compliance programs and initiatives, leading project teams as needed • Provide technical support to operations and business unit personnel • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline required • Five (5+) or more years of experience working in a compliance or audit role required • Technical knowledge and experience with NERC Operations & Planning standards required • Experience working in a regulated entity, preferably in the electricity sector • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work professionally with business units on compliance initiatives • Attention to detail • Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills • Excellent problem-solving ability • Ability to establish, document, and maintain procedures and guidelines • Ability to provide technical support to operations and business unit personnel
