📋 Description

• Manage daily processing for deposits, Real Time Payments (RTP), ACH, and wires • Perform manual and batch postings, research, exception handling, and general ledger reconciliation • Coordinate and schedule daily EFT, ACH, and wire processing • Serve as a department point of contact when the Operations Manager is unavailable • Support electronic funds processes and member servicing • Work on system updates, service enhancements, and process-change projects • Maintain work in project and ticketing tools using Agile-inspired practices • Lead or support process reviews and testing and translate findings into production changes • Identify rules-based work for automation through RPA and AI-assisted workflows • Define requirements, test automation solutions, and measure their impact with stakeholders • Work with vendors, management, and regulators on internal services, funds transfer policies, compliance, security, and contingency planning • Write and maintain procedure documents and recommend policy updates • Use AI-assisted decision tools for exception handling, risk assessment, and fraud detection where appropriate • Support other business units with member requests and workflows • Cross-train on critical processes and help maintain service levels • Interact with vendors and third parties on behalf of members and the Credit Union • Stay current on regulatory and technology changes • Promote a positive, professional work atmosphere and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• At least four years of transactional processing experience in a bank or credit union • At least two years in a similar Operations role • Experience with deposit and payment systems, including ACH, wires, and RTP, and related digital banking platforms • Intermediate to advanced Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and data cleansing • Comfort working with data exports and dashboards • Experience with payment systems or RPA/automation tools, such as workflow engines, bots, scripting, or rules engines • Ability to learn new systems quickly and translate business requirements into system or configuration requirements for vendors/IT • Experience working with or supporting AI-assisted decision tools and automation in operations, or ability to identify automation candidates and support business cases for AI-assisted implementations • Strong knowledge of rules and regulations governing transactional processing in financial institutions • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, decision-making, and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines accurately • High integrity, trustworthiness, and accountability • Comfort working across multiple banking systems and tools and adopting new technology and AI-assisted capabilities • Suitable internet connection, current smartphone, extended computer use, and frequent communication via email, chat, video, and phone • Stable internet connection suitable for video conferencing and screen sharing • Candidates must reside within the United States • U.S. work authorization required • No current or future sponsorship available • College degree preferred
