📋 Description

• Maintain renewable energy assets, including preventive maintenance and repairs on solar, wind, and battery storage facilities • Work safely and seek guidance when unfamiliar with or unable to safely perform a task • Operate and maintain company assets and equipment efficiently and safely • Perform scheduled maintenance on wind, solar, and battery storage assets • Perform unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot outages, and replace mechanical and electrical components • Act as Acting Site Manager when the designated Site Manager is on leave when required • Install improved systems or equipment • Implement corrective actions identified for renewable assets • Troubleshoot condition monitoring systems (CBMs) • Support in-house Major Component Repair and Composite Repair teams • Provide additional manpower to third-party customers • Complete daily service documentation, timesheets, and other project or task documents • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor • Travel for extended periods to EDF power solutions projects • Work a general rotation of five weeks on and one week off, subject to business needs

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • 0–2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector or equivalent field preferred • Technical diploma, DEP, or certification in electromechanics, electricity, or wind turbine maintenance preferred • Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, or related tasks preferred • Successfully complete applicable technical and safety training for the entry-level support technician • Basic computer literacy • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Good verbal and written communication skills • Fluency in English and French preferred • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Ability to work at heights, including towers, nacelles, and hubs • Ability to work in a mechanical environment • Valid driver's license with a good driving record • Availability to travel frequently, including internationally • Good work habits, including attendance and maintaining a neat, orderly work environment • Maximum employee weight must not exceed 285 lbs. due to fall-arrest equipment restrictions
