📋 Description

• Provide an educational atmosphere where learners can fulfill their potential • Organize and implement an instructional program aligned with District and state policies and laws • Deliver specified course content in an online, virtual environment • Acquaint students with coursework and communicate course and school requirements • Employ asynchronous tools to supplement course content • Track student progress and help students stay on pace • Conference with parents of struggling students by phone or online • Grade student work and enter grades in an online grade book • Contribute to and complete student report cards • Communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents • Respond to student messages and discussions within school guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required • California Teaching credential, endorsed in Science: Geosciences • Must be a resident of California • Experience teaching high school and adult learners • Comfortable using technology for lesson delivery • Ability to work collaboratively with students, classroom teachers, and other educators • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
