📋 Description

• Provide virtual special education services in the public school system • Teach core content areas outlined in the Utah State Board of Education’s Core Standards • Correlate core content with approved learning activities tailored to each student’s individual needs • Prepare and execute lesson plans • Adjust curriculum for individual student needs • Document and track student progress toward established objectives and IEP goals • Follow Utah Effective Teaching Standards • Accurately implement all aspects of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree • Utah teacher’s license for Special Education • Experience with children in a special education setting • Experience in schools is preferred • Ability and willingness to prepare and execute lesson plans • Ability to adjust curriculum to meet students’ needs • Ability to track student progress according to IEP goals • Strong communication skills • Strong organizational skills
