• Identify, develop and maintain internal and external relationships/partnerships • Provide leadership and direction for the business development team • Maintain accountability for regional growth and revenue objectives • Drive alignment with the company's sales strategy and organizational goals • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and business results • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners • Facilitate the development of new partnerships and the company; facilitate and remains involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs • Develop detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs • Ensure the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identify resources for prospect solicitation and service teams • Utilize the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations • Manage the design of service programs ensuring client need fulfillment • Develop and implement an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required • Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred • Licenses as required • Possession of, or progress towards, CPCU and/or ARM designation required • Ten (10) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
