📋 Description

• Lead a dedicated span of roughly twenty engineers • Drive performance management, professional growth, career paths, and promotion pathways • Serve as the primary escalation point for engineering challenges • Direct team staffing strategy with Resource Management and the practice lead • Oversee contractor operations, onboarding, contract extensions, and engagement delivery • Mentor and coach team leads • Lead the practice-wide hiring engine, interviewer calibration, and partnership with Talent Acquisition • Champion career progression, mentorship, management enablement, and performance review cycles • Lead the internal accelerator program and define production-ready client standards • Maintain an active billable portfolio of approximately 50% across advisory and platform consulting roles • Provide technical leadership on AI SDLC initiatives and AI tooling adoption • Drive AI governance solutions, evaluation frameworks, observability platforms, audit trails, and production safety controls • Architect enterprise platform and pipeline deployments, including agentic AI frameworks and automated promotion pipelines • Advise client engineering leaders and challenge technical approaches when needed

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, including significant leadership experience guiding full engineering organizations • Demonstrated experience managing engineering leaders and managers, with a track record of scaling teams and organizational structures • Proven ability to build recruiting engines, onboarding programs, engineering standards, and career pathways with measurable outcomes • Deep technical strength in platform, pipeline, and infrastructure architecture • Hands-on expertise deploying production AI/ML systems, especially platform architecture, MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, governance, and operational resilience • Deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience, or proven technical agility to master a GCP-centric delivery stack rapidly • Sharp consulting acumen, including managing ambiguity, client-facing dynamics, concurrent engagements, and business drivers • Professional services experience preferred • Collaborative mindset and comfort partnering with practice leadership • Exceptional communication and executive presence • Subject to background checks, employment verification, and other relevant hiring checks
