📋 Description

• Administer Google Workspace, device management, and the SaaS access lifecycle • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and audit-ready access reviews • Run access-review and device-compliance checks • Automate repetitive security and IT processes • Remediate failing Vanta tests and automate evidence collection • Triage employee security and IT requests for one shift per week with mentor review • Write runbooks and triage notes for engineers and AI agents • Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to scale work and develop automated production jobs • Own bounded projects end to end, ship them, and demo them to the engineering organization • Work directly with the Head of Security and Security Engineer

🎯 Requirements

• Junior or Senior at a US college or university, in computer science or a related program • Scripting ability in Python or similar; experience writing something that calls an API and performs a task • Working knowledge of SSO, MFA, directory groups, and least privilege • Experience administering or securing one concrete environment, such as Google Workspace, a home lab, campus help desk, CTF infrastructure, or part-time IT environment • Clear security writing; submit a lab writeup, README, blog post, or how-to • Available 20 hours per week during the school year • At least 4 hours of overlap with US business hours on 3 or more days • Authorized to work in the US; role is not eligible for visa sponsorship • AI-first mindset • Bonus: CTF participation, bug bounty writeups, GitHub projects, help desk/campus IT/MSP experience, or exposure to SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001
