📋 Description

• Own the master schedule for all active Public Sector projects across authoring tools, learning management, simulation and immersive training, coaching, custom content, and services • Define scope, milestones, and resource plans with customers and internal delivery teams • Run intake for new work, assign owners and dates, and escalate schedule, budget, and staffing risks • Serve as the operational point of contact for named Public Sector accounts after sale closure • Run status reviews, milestone check-ins, and quarterly business reviews • Track open items across support, product, professional services, and finance through closure • Own delivery-side renewal readiness • Manage delivery against government contract vehicles, task orders, and purchase orders • Coordinate contract modifications, option year exercises, invoicing milestones, and closeout • Maintain compliance artifacts, including Section 508, accessibility, security, privacy, and agency-specific documentation • Support capture and proposal efforts with staffing plans, schedules, level-of-effort estimates, and past performance narratives • Plan and run instructor-led, virtual, and in-person training delivery • Manage facilitator scheduling, session logistics, registration, rosters, materials, trainer-to-learner ratios, capacity, and rescheduling • Collect evaluation data and turn participant feedback into corrective action • Coordinate content updates with instructional designers and product teams • Work across product, engineering, support, professional services, and finance to unblock delivery • Own the sales-to-delivery handoff • Run delivery standups and pipeline-to-delivery handoff reviews • Produce internal and customer status reporting, including monthly progress reports where required • Maintain project documentation, lessons learned, and repeatable playbooks • Represent Public Sector in internal reviews and customer meetings when the SVP is unavailable • Serve as senior delivery authority inside Public Sector • Mentor project coordinators and delivery staff • Drive portfolio-wide process improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Five or more years managing projects end to end • At least two years in a federal, DoD, or public sector environment • Experience delivering training programs, learning technology, or professional services to government customers • Working knowledge of government contracting, including task orders, periods of performance, deliverable schedules, and scope management • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different customers and product lines • Strong written communication skills • US citizenship • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance • Preferred: active Secret clearance or higher • Preferred: PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification • Preferred: military service or prior government service, including Guard and Reserve • Preferred: experience with learning management systems, authoring tools, or simulation and immersive training platforms • Preferred: familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements • Preferred: experience at a small or mid-size company where the project manager also does the work • Preferred: experience with federal, Department of Defense, state/local government, higher education, or nonprofit clients • Preferred: experience with government contracts or projects with defined deliverables and compliance requirements • Preferred: experience managing learning, eLearning, instructional design, or technology implementation projects • Preferred: familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other structured delivery methodologies • Preferred: experience managing projects involving multiple vendors or external contractors
