📋 Description

• Provide occupational therapy services to PreK-12 school students. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and school staff. • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed. • Consult with teachers and school staff on strategies supporting classroom participation and success. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and functional needs. • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' education plans. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field. • Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live in which you are practicing. • Must be Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) • Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting. • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, computer skills (including email/ and Microsoft teams) • Experience in teletherapy • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred). • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse. • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. • Occasionally able to stand, walk, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
