📋 Description

• Configure, validate, and launch integrations between Element451 and institutional systems including SIS, ERP, financial aid, and third parties • Implement and maintain SFTP, CSV, and batch workflows with schedules, transformations, normalization, and validation • Partner with Implementation Leads to align integration timelines with go-live milestones and unblock dependencies • Lead data-mapping sessions with campus IT and functional stakeholders • Define data-quality standards, validation checks, system-of-record decisions, and field transformations • Document mappings, assumptions, edge cases, integration runbooks, troubleshooting playbooks, and known failure modes • Diagnose integration issues using logs, error payloads, and testing tools such as Postman • Identify root causes across authentication, endpoints, payload formatting, source data, and scheduling • Resolve issues independently where possible and escalate to Engineering with clear reproduction steps, impact, and artifacts when required • Establish monitoring and proactive checks to prevent silent failures • Create reusable integration patterns for common higher-education ecosystem combinations • Surface recurring integration issues and friction to Product and Engineering as structured signals

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 years in integrations, technical support, data operations, implementation engineering, or similar roles with APIs as a core responsibility • Strong REST/API fundamentals: reading docs, testing endpoints, debugging, handling errors, pagination, and rate limits • Comfortable with auth patterns including OAuth2, API keys, and tokens, and common failure modes • Experience with SFTP/CSV/batch integration workflows and rigorous mapping/validation practices • Working familiarity with higher-ed SIS/ERP concepts and terminology • Strong written communication — clear for campus IT and precise for internal teams • Experience with systems such as Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, Workday Student, or Jenzabar is a plus
