📋 Description

• Process month-end journal entries and complete reconciliations; generate and validate financial reports • Manage revenue and contract systems, including new customer contract entry, renewals, and client upsells • Generate revenue schedules, invoice schedules, and recurring revenue metrics • Serve as primary contact for new client setup, including purchase orders and sales tax certificates • Work with the CS team to assist in customer correspondence • Coordinate with the CPA firm for year-end tax preparation and post year-end journal entries • Assist with annual reporting, including 409A, state registrations, and registered agents • Assist with business insurance policy renewals and premiums; maintain certificates of insurance • Organize and process financial transactions, including digital and cash transactions • Update department budgets, partner with managers on annual budgets, and provide quarterly reviews • Report and submit sales and use tax to state agencies; manage tracking systems and exemption certificates • Set up new vendors; manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and annual 1099s • Manage employee expense reports and company credit cards • Write and update accounting department standard operating procedures • Complete weekly mail pickup at the WeWork office and assist with other administrative duties as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years working in accounting • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Working knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, deferred revenue, and SaaS metrics • Strong financial analysis skills, including understanding of cash management, forecasting, and reconciliations • Proficient in Maxio, QuickBooks, Excel, Bill or similar tool, Avalara, and Google Sheets • Team player
