📋 Description

• Interpret and enter basic prescriptions • Process prior authorizations • Troubleshoot adjudication issues • Verify member information and input data for pharmacists • Educate members on pharmacy-based rules, prescription resources, and assistance programs • Process prior authorization requests from physicians’ offices • Ensure compliance with Medicare requirements • Inform relevant parties of prior authorization determinations • Resolve grievances and appeals issues • Respond to physician, sales team, and member inquiries about formulary and prescription benefits • Generate rebate, physician utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance member, and ad hoc reports • Maintain records of prior authorizations, rebates, and monthly reports

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience • Current state pharmacy technician certification or national certification based on applicable state(s) • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for URAC accredited areas • Problem-solving skills for URAC accredited areas • Facilitation skills for URAC accredited areas • Analytical skills for URAC accredited areas • Ability to work second shift • For virtual roles, residence within commuting distance from an office may be required • Ability to meet applicable state and federal requirements, including Medicare requirements • Certain patient/member-facing roles require COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination unless an acceptable explanation is provided
