📋 Description

• Interpret and enter moderately complex prescriptions • Process prior authorization requests from physicians' offices and ensure Medicare compliance • Inform relevant parties of prior authorization determinations • Troubleshoot adjudication issues • Resolve grievances and appeals issues • Respond to inquiries from physicians, the sales team, and members about formulary and prescription benefits • Educate members about prescriptions, medication resources, assistance programs, and medication adherence topics • Assist members with scheduling preventive tests and screenings • Conduct member or provider outreach to close care gaps and improve outcomes • Verify member information and input data for pharmacists

🎯 Requirements

• Active professional license, if required by state law • State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification based on applicable state requirements • Certification/licensure to practice as a Pharmacy Technician within the scope of practice in a U.S. state or territory • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Call center experience preferred • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Problem-solving skills • Facilitation skills • Analytical skills
