• Manage contracting, project/program management, compliance, vendor management, customer data analytics, and spend reduction for Pharmacy spend • Monitor financial programs through analytics and reporting • Establish and maintain member relationships regarding contract portfolios, educational services, consultative offerings, technology products, and pharmacy solutions • Develop analyses based on contract market share requirements, comparisons, and benchmarks • Interact with pharmacy supply chain and acute pharmacy leaders individually and at committee levels • Manage internal team members, stakeholders, and participating facilities’ staff to deliver projects on time and within budget • Manage purchase decision support, including line-item price validation and comparative quote analyses • Create and facilitate member and staff education on product usage and cost efficiencies • Monitor Premier supplier sales cycles, analyze performance, review contract pricing accuracy, update data, and notify facility pharmacy departments • Provide technical oversight for contract launch materials, surveys, second sourcing events, product planning initiatives, and committee meetings/presentations • Gather information from various data sources and present data to influence decision-making • Assist with new member implementation, rostering issues, and orientation • Act as liaison between Sourcing, Legal, multidisciplinary teams, facilities, distributors, suppliers, and Accounts Payable • Analyze contracting opportunities, support GPO operational functions, and monitor category savings and key performance indicators • Perform data-driven analyses of operational and financial trends and strategic insights related to GPO • Maintain member and health-system communications, identify contract opportunities, and optimize Premier service uptake • Verify Premier roster updates, site alignment, contract rostering, pricing questions, and discrepancies • Provide technical support and pharmacy question resolution to members • Represent Premier at member meetings and industry events; participate in pharmaceutical purchase agreement negotiations and supplier discussions
• 4 or more years of applicable experience • High School Diploma or GED (Required) • Experience with pharmacy contracting • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain • Skills in data analytics, analysis and forecasting, hospital pharmacy, and account management • Strong analytic and reporting skills • Experience in pharmacy purchasing/supply chain functions within a health system, including Inpatient, Outpatient, Specialty, Retail, and 340B Pharmacy Operations • Experience performing cost-benefit analysis and benchmarking • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multitask • Strong internal and external people/supplier relationship skills • Experience with fact-finding, price-cost analysis, and detailed contract justification • Ability to work independently, make decisions, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to work collaboratively in a business environment • Ability to travel 1-20% within the US
