📋 Description

• Set the strategic direction of the Projects Team in consultation with the Departmental VP • Oversee Senior Project Managers who direct and coordinate assigned projects and programs • Continuously evaluate departmental processes and technology to improve effectiveness and universal application • Develop new processes and provide training to team members • Ensure the team tracks appropriate KPIs and achieves superior results • Evaluate new project opportunities and distribute tasks according to team members' skill sets • Manage project portfolios using profitability, non-billable time, project management cost, completion, pipeline, and capacity data • Select, orient, and hire new employees • Coach, provide performance feedback, evaluate, and counsel team members • Ensure project teams remain current with safety training • Monitor, document, and provide safety training as required • Visit project sites occasionally to conduct safety audits • Review audit results with Project Managers and provide feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent • MBA is strongly preferred • Ten to fifteen years of experience in Construction Management • Proven success in leading others • LEED Associate, State General Contacting Licenses, or professional construction affiliations a plus • PMI Certification required • Must possess a valid driver's license • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Ability to perform work on a roof level • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus • Ability to determine full range of colors in work areas, drawings, and mapping • Ability to move about commercial properties and construction sites, through tight passageways and corridors • Ability to remain on feet as project task requirements dictate
