📋 Description

• Visit operating companies to assess and support project teams and fabrication processes • Assess execution rigor and field performance • Support operating companies in turnaround situations where execution is the issue • Enhance field productivity and predictability • Strengthen prefabrication and fabrication integration • Mentor and guide local projects and fabrication shops • Improve project control systems, cost tracking, forecasting, productivity measurement, labor planning, crew sizing, workflows, schedule management, and change order processes • Support faster stabilization of new acquisitions • Transfer best practices across operating companies • Develop a project execution playbook standardizing processes from procurement to completion • Improve coordination between fabrication shops and field teams • Strengthen material flow and readiness • Align prefab strategy with estimating and procurement • Ensure installation teams are prepared for prefab integration • Support field reporting and communication cadence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related areas of study or field experience • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC • Prior experience as a Project Executive, Operations Manager, Fabrication/Prefab Leader or Senior Project Leader • Experience working for a $100 million+ contractor • Successful leadership of larger Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC projects • Market/sector experience managing Data Centers/Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing/Semiconductor, Large Healthcare, or Complex Commercial Construction projects • Demonstrated Prefabrication & Fabrication expertise • Demonstrated competency evaluating and improving project controls, cost tracking and forecasting, productivity measurement, labor planning, fabrication workflows, prefab integration, schedule management, and change order processes • Experience developing project execution playbooks in the construction industry • Proven track record leading projects with commitment to Ethics and Safety • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications • Experience with Accubid, Procore, Bluebeam or other construction software • Familiarity with construction/financial software packages • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English and collaborate with customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors, suppliers, and contractors • Ability to navigate job sites and travel by plane and/or car 40-60% of the time • Ability to sit, see, talk, hear, use hands, walk, reach, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds
