📋 Description

• Own and continuously mature the global privacy program, including strategy, roadmap, and governance • Manage the full OneTrust cookie consent management lifecycle, including banner configuration, geolocation-based consent logic, templates, and categories • Administer the end-to-end Data Subject Request workflow within statutory deadlines across applicable jurisdictions • Lead PIAs and DPIAs for products, features, third-party integrations, and high-risk processing activities • Embed privacy-by-design into product and AI/ML development lifecycles • Advise on lawful bases for automated decision-making, data minimization in model training, and emerging AI regulations • Draft, negotiate, manage, and maintain DPAs, SCCs, and BCRs • Maintain the company’s Records of Processing Activities across business units • Manage relationships with Data Protection Authorities and serve as or coordinate with the DPO as applicable • Monitor global privacy and data protection regulations and translate requirements into compliance obligations and policy updates • Own privacy policies, notices, and internal data handling standards • Partner with Information Security on data breach response plans • Directly manage the Legal Operations Manager and drive legal department operational excellence • Oversee matter management, outside counsel management, legal spend tracking, CLM tooling, and legal reporting • Support commercial and enterprise contract negotiations involving privacy, data use, or data security • Review, redline, and advise on MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, and data-related addenda • Maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions • Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Partnerships on time-sensitive commercial matters

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of privacy, data protection, or related legal experience • At least 3 years in a senior or lead privacy role at a global company or top-tier law firm • Deep, hands-on expertise with GDPR and at least one other major global privacy regime, such as CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, or PIPL • Hands-on OneTrust experience required, including cookie banner deployment and configuration, DSR workflow automation, assessment management (PIAs/DPIAs), and vendor risk management modules • Track record of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, DPAs, and SCCs • Experience managing or mentoring legal professionals • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or equivalent privacy certification preferred • Experience with legal operations technology, including CLM platforms, e-billing, and matter management tools preferred • Background in SaaS, technology, or other data-intensive industries preferred • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and emerging AI regulation preferred • ISO27001 or SOC2 certification experience preferred
