📋 Description

• Provide legal support for complex U.S. and global legal, regulatory, and compliance matters • Advise on promotional review of marketing, sales, medical, and training assets • Provide strategic legal advice and solutions to commercial business teams • Advise business units on federal and state healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards • Advise on internal and external communications • Provide guidance on sales and marketing, market access, patient advocacy, patient services, medical information, fee-for-service arrangements, drug pricing, data privacy, social media, endorsers, drug labeling, strategic plans, competitive issues, and nonprofit interactions • Support Government Affairs and coordinate with external counsel • Represent Legal on cross-functional committees and teams • Collaborate on complex agreements • Support regulatory, medical affairs, and product development teams • Educate and train business and cross-functional stakeholders • Participate in department initiatives and improve Legal operations • Assist with internal policies, training, and corporate governance initiatives • Participate in mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and other partnering activities, including risk assessment and due diligence • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Law Degree from an ABA accredited school • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state and in good standing • 5–7 years of experience working in a law firm and/or pharmaceutical or biotechnology legal department • At least 2+ years of in-house experience in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry • Understanding of pharmaceutical legal issues, including regulatory processes for prescription and OTC drugs, anti-kickback, fraud and abuse, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and antitrust laws • Working knowledge of the global regulatory environment • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry IP, manufacturing, R&D, regulatory, and commercial elements • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, oral, written, and presentation skills • Ability to provide practical legal advice in a time-sensitive, dynamic, complex environment • Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage priorities, workloads, and risks • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Experience working in a matrix environment is a plus • Experience supporting products ex-US is highly desirable
