📋 Description

• Lead execution and ongoing management of data products within assigned data domains • Provide input into data product strategy, standards, and objectives • Translate data strategy into product plans, roadmaps, and team deliverables • Manage data product portfolios across domains such as advisor, customer, accounts, risk, and operations • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, risk, and resources • Lead and manage Data Product Managers and other professional-level employees • Set team priorities and align work with department objectives • Provide coaching, performance management, development, and guidance to direct reports • Promote consistent product discovery, requirements definition, documentation, prioritization, and delivery practices • Manage delivery of complex data products and initiatives • Coordinate across product, data engineering, analytics, technology, and business teams • Resolve delivery issues, resource constraints, dependencies, and competing priorities • Escalate significant cross-functional risks and issues • Monitor execution against roadmaps, milestones, service expectations, and success measures • Partner with Governance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Technology teams to implement controls • Ensure products meet privacy, data quality, lineage, auditability, retention, access, and other requirements • Implement data ownership, stewardship, and accountability practices • Identify and escalate material data risks and support remediation • Develop relationships with business, technology, analytics, risk, compliance, and data stakeholders • Communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization to leadership • Facilitate decisions when priorities or requirements compete • Prepare materials and analyses for leadership discussions and governance forums • Establish and monitor product success measures, including adoption, quality, reliability, delivery performance, and business impact • Improve existing data products, processes, and services • Support business case development and track benefits and value realization • Recommend changes to product plans and roadmaps based on performance, feedback, and priorities • Keep teams focused on measurable business outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience • 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, data, analytics, technology, or related disciplines • Significant experience with data, analytics, or platform products • 2 to 5+ years of management or people leadership experience • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms and modern data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and/or streaming technologies • Understanding of analytics, business intelligence, metrics, and related data consumption patterns • Experience with data governance practices, including metadata management, data lineage, data quality, privacy, and data controls • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional data or technology initiatives • Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable product plans and team deliverables • Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry • Experience with AWS, Snowflake, or Redshift • Familiarity with data mesh or domain-oriented data product models • Background in product management, analytics, engineering, data, or quantitative disciplines • Experience presenting product information to senior leadership and governance forums • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT
