📋 Description

• Audit and process crop insurance claims timely and accurately • Deliver customer service to agents and producers by reviewing and processing medium to complex claim files • Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one area of claims auditing • Provide guidance and expertise to colleagues • Ensure consistency and quality across audit activities • Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to resolve claim-related issues • Identify problems, determine solutions, and recommend appropriate communication of resolutions • Use Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal resources to solve problems • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and internal policies and procedures • Research and resolve complex claims issues with limited supervision • Travel for meetings and trainings

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 5 years of crop insurance experience • Proven experience in crop insurance claims auditing and processing preferred • Knowledge of Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) policies • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and related software • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technical/computer systems • Effective interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills • Ability to interact with internal and external customers • Ability to process moderate to advanced-level crop insurance claims • Ability to work independently and with a team • Ability to travel for meetings and trainings • Ability to perform sedentary work and sit or stand constantly/continuously • Close visual acuity for data analysis, computer-terminal work, extensive reading, and visual inspection
