📋 Description

• Review and process medium to complex crop insurance claim files accurately and efficiently • Deliver customer service to agents and producers • Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one area of claims auditing • Provide guidance and expertise to colleagues • Audit and process claims timely and accurately to meet quality production standards • Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to resolve claim-related issues • Work independently and collaboratively to identify problems and determine solutions • Recommend appropriate communication of claim resolutions • Use Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal resources to solve problems • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and internal policies and procedures • Research and resolve complex claims issues while maintaining accuracy and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 5 years of crop insurance experience • Proven experience in crop insurance claims auditing and processing preferred • Knowledge of Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) policies • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and related software • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technical/computer systems • Effective interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills • Ability to interact with internal and external customers • Ability to understand and apply Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other internal resources • Ability to audit all levels of Crop Claim types and process moderate to advanced claims • Ability to research and resolve complex claims issues with limited supervision • Ability to work sedentary duties and sit or stand constantly/continuously • Ability to travel for meetings and trainings
